Yecom Meet Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Yecom Meet (“the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use the App.
Yecom Meet is designed primarily as a local audio recording and organization tool. Recordings, imported audio files, notes, folders, and related content are stored locally on your device unless you choose to share them.
1. Information Stored on Your Device
Yecom Meet may store the following information locally on your device:
- Audio recordings created using the App
- Audio files you choose to import
- Recording titles
- General notes
- Timestamped notes
- Folder names and folder assignments
- Recording duration and file metadata
- App appearance preferences
- Local information required to recover interrupted recordings
This information is used to provide recording, playback, organization, recovery, and file-management features.
Yecom Meet does not upload your recordings or notes to our servers as part of its normal recording functionality.
2. Microphone Access
Yecom Meet requests access to your microphone so that you can create audio recordings.
The microphone is used only when recording functionality requires it.
The App does not continuously access the microphone when you are not recording.
You can manage microphone permission through your device settings.
3. Imported Audio Files
You may choose to import supported audio files from your device or from locations available through Apple’s file picker.
When a file is imported, Yecom Meet creates a local copy within the App’s storage.
The original file remains in its original location and is not deleted or modified by Yecom Meet.
4. Sharing
Yecom Meet allows you to share recordings using the standard iOS sharing interface.
A recording is shared only when you explicitly choose the Share option and select a destination.
The App may temporarily create a local copy of the audio file for sharing purposes. Temporary sharing files are removed when they are no longer required or during later App cleanup.
Yecom Meet does not automatically send your recordings to third parties.
5. Accounts
The recording functionality of Yecom Meet does not require you to create an account or sign in.
Your locally stored recordings and notes are not associated with a user account as part of the recording experience.
6. Analytics, Diagnostics, and Crash Reporting
Yecom Meet does not currently use analytics or crash-reporting services to collect information about your use of the App.
We may introduce analytics, diagnostic, or crash-reporting tools in future versions of Yecom Meet to help us understand App performance, identify technical problems, improve reliability, and enhance the user experience.
If these features are introduced, they may process limited technical information such as device type, operating system version, App version, performance information, diagnostic events, and crash information.
We will update this Privacy Policy and any applicable App Store privacy disclosures before or when such data collection becomes active.
We do not intend to use the contents of your recordings or notes for analytics, advertising, or profiling.
We do not sell your recordings, notes, or personal information.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
Your Yecom Meet content remains stored locally until you delete it, remove the App, or the operating system removes the App’s local data.
When you permanently delete a recording in Yecom Meet, the App attempts to remove:
- The local copy of the audio file
- Associated notes
- Associated metadata
Deleting an imported recording from Yecom Meet does not delete the original source file from which it was imported.
Deleting the App may remove locally stored recordings and related information.
You should maintain separate copies of recordings that are important to you.
8. Data Security
We take reasonable technical measures to keep locally stored Yecom Meet content within App-controlled storage and to restrict file operations to App-owned locations.
However, no device, storage system, or software can guarantee absolute security or protection against data loss.
You are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of important recordings.
9. Third-Party Services
When you use system functionality such as:
- Apple’s document picker
- The iOS share sheet
- Files
- Third-party cloud-storage providers selected by you
your interaction with those services may be governed by their own privacy policies and terms.
We do not control how another service handles information after you choose to export or share content with it.
10. Children
Yecom Meet is not specifically designed to collect personal information from children.
Users are responsible for ensuring that their use of audio recording complies with applicable laws, including requirements that may apply when recording minors.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to Yecom Meet, including the introduction of analytics, diagnostics, crash reporting, or other features that affect how information is processed.
The updated Privacy Policy will indicate its latest revision date.
