Yecom Meet Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Yecom Meet (“the App”).
By downloading, accessing, or using Yecom Meet, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the App.
1. Purpose of Yecom Meet
Yecom Meet allows users to perform functions including:
- Record audio
- Import supported audio files
- Play and review recordings
- Add general and timestamped notes
- Organize recordings into folders
- Rename recordings
- Share recordings
- Delete locally stored recordings
The App is intended for lawful personal and professional use.
2. Recording Other People
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of Yecom Meet’s recording functionality complies with applicable laws.
Laws regarding recording conversations differ between countries, states, provinces, and other jurisdictions.
Depending on where you are located, you may be required to:
- Inform participants that recording is taking place
- Obtain consent from one or more participants
- Obtain consent from all participants
You must obtain any permission or consent required by applicable law before recording another person.
We are not responsible for recordings created unlawfully or without required authorization.
3. Your Content
You remain responsible for recordings, notes, and files that you create or import using Yecom Meet.
You represent that you have the necessary rights or permissions to:
- Record the content you create
- Import files into the App
- Store those files
- Share or distribute those files
You must not use Yecom Meet to record, store, import, or distribute material that violates applicable law or the rights of another person.
4. Imported Content
Yecom Meet may allow you to import audio files that you already possess or can access through your device.
Yecom Meet does not grant you any rights to copyrighted or third-party material.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have permission to use, copy, store, or share imported content.
5. Local Storage
Recordings and related content are primarily stored locally on your device.
You understand that locally stored content may be lost because of circumstances including:
- Device loss or damage
- App deletion
- Operating system changes
- Storage corruption
- Device reset
- Insufficient storage
- Software or hardware failure
You are responsible for maintaining external copies or backups of important recordings.
6. Recording Recovery
Yecom Meet may attempt to recover recordings that were interrupted because of circumstances such as App termination or system interruption.
Recovery functionality is provided on a best-effort basis.
We do not guarantee that every interrupted recording can be recovered.
7. Sharing
Yecom Meet allows you to initiate sharing through iOS.
Once you share a recording with another application, service, or person, we cannot control:
- How the content is stored
- How it is used
- Whether it is redistributed
- Whether it is deleted
You are responsible for reviewing the destination before sharing confidential or sensitive material.
8. Permanent Deletion
Yecom Meet provides a permanent deletion option.
When you confirm permanent deletion, the App will attempt to remove the App’s stored copy of the recording and its associated notes and metadata.
Permanent deletion normally cannot be undone.
Deleting an imported recording from Yecom Meet does not delete the original file outside the App.
9. Prohibited Use
You may not use Yecom Meet to:
- Violate applicable laws
- Record people unlawfully
- Violate privacy or publicity rights
- Infringe copyrights or other intellectual property rights
- Harass, threaten, stalk, or unlawfully monitor another person
- Distribute illegal content
- Interfere with the App or its services
- Reverse-engineer protected portions of the App except where applicable law expressly permits it
10. No Professional Advice
Yecom Meet is an audio recording and organization tool.
It does not provide legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice.
You are responsible for determining whether recording is lawful and appropriate in your circumstances.
11. Availability and Changes
We may modify, improve, suspend, or discontinue features of Yecom Meet.
We do not guarantee that every feature will always be available on every device or operating system version.
Features, technical implementation, and supported formats may change over time.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Yecom Meet is provided “as is” and “as available.”
We do not guarantee that the App will:
- Operate without interruption
- Be error-free
- Recover every interrupted recording
- Preserve every file
- Work with every audio format
- Meet every individual use case
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of Yecom Meet, including loss of recordings, files, notes, or other data.
This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited or excluded.
14. Intellectual Property
Yecom Meet, including its software, design, branding, and materials provided by us, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of Yecom Meet to you.
Your own recordings and notes remain yours, subject to any third-party rights that may apply to the underlying content.
15. Apple
If you download Yecom Meet through Apple’s App Store:
- These Terms are between you and us, not Apple.
- Apple is not responsible for providing maintenance or support for Yecom Meet except where required by applicable law.
- Your use of the App is also subject to applicable App Store terms.
If you use Apple’s Standard License Agreement in App Store Connect, that agreement also applies.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time.
The latest version will indicate the date it was updated.
Continued use of Yecom Meet after updated Terms become effective may constitute acceptance of the revised Terms where permitted by applicable law.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [COUNTRY / JURISDICTION], subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights that apply in your place of residence.
